 | Glass Cutting Class Instructor: Jim Berry
Have
you ever wanted to sharpen your glass cutting skills? This class is a
great opportunity for that. We put together a four hour class on Sunday
afternoon that focuses only on glass cutting. We introduce various
styles of glass cutters and their proper use, as well as the appropriate
running and breaking pliers. Plenty of glass will be provided to
practice.
We demonstrate the Morton Glass Works Portable Glass
Shop as well as the newly introduced Beatle Bits Glass Cutting System.
These are both great systems for the production stained glass and mosaic
artists
We introduce the Inland Bandsaw and the Taurus III Ring saw.
Plenty of glass will be provided for practice.

One day class on Sunday, from1:00-5:00pm Tuition: $60 (all glass and tools are provided for class use)
Special pricing on cutting tools, saws and grinders for students on class day.

Introduction to Fusing and Slumping Instructor: Susan Stegall
Students will learn the basics of of glass fusing and slumping
including cutting glass, design considerations, firing a kiln and other
techniques. Students will complete 5 projects (i.e. tile, square plate,
etc.)
One day a week on Wednesdays, from 7:00-9:00pm for 5 weeks.
Tuition: $175 (plus glass for 4 of the projects)

In this fun fusing class, learn to make a bowl using only thin strands of glass to create a woven basket look.
No previous glass experience required. All materials included in class fee.

| Beginner Jewelry Fusing
Instructor: Lydia Johns
Students will learn the basics of glass fusing including cutting
glass, design considerations and firing a kiln. Students will complete
several pieces of fused glass jewelry (pendants, earrings, pins, etc.)

| | Bronwen Heilman Reverse Painting on Glass Fused Pendants
This
is an advanced / beginner class focusing on how to work with enamels
and how to apply them. We will be focusing on applying wet enamel and
capturing your own line drawings on a flat surface. After the enamels
are fired; we will stack them to create one-of-a-kind pendants.
2-day class on Saturday & Sunday, from 9a-5p Lunch will be provided on both days. Tuition: $450
