Beginner Bead Instruction Instructor: Lisa Jo Bass
We are now offering our beginner bead instruction in a group classroom setting where you can learn flame working and make beautiful glass objects in a torch flame. In this 4 hour class, you will learn how to use Effetre Italian glass rods, mandrels, and marvers to create and shape simple beads.
All tools, materials and glass rods will be supplied for the class.

Holiday Sculptural Beads Instructor: Lisa Jo Bass
In this special holiday intermediate flameworking workshop, you will learn how to make some fun and whimsical sculptural beads. Some of the beads you will have a chance to make include snowmen, gnomes, trees, light bulbs and maybe a Santa!
Students must have had one of our beginner bead classes, private instruction or previous experience on the torch.
All tools, materials and glass rods will be supplied for the class.

If you would like a private flame working lesson to make beautiful glass objects in a torch flame, we can get you started with a private 3-hour lesson. You will learn how to use Effetre Italian glass rods, mandrels, and marvers to create and shape simple beads.

After taking our Beginner Bead Instruction class, you can get some more private time with Lisa Jo on an hourly basis, to work on perfecting a shape or helping you with your technique.

Blown Glass Ornaments
A Blue Moon Holiday tradition continues into it's13th year!
Join us and learn how to blow glass ornaments on a torch, in this fun, semi-private class.
Each student receives 10 glass tubes and an assortment of colorful glass frit and glass stringers. Plenty of hands-on instruction. After time in the kiln, your handmade ornaments will be ready to pick up the next day.
No previous experience required, but you must be at least 13 years of age (with a parent in attendance). 10 ornaments and hangers included.
A two hour class can be setup any day of the week, daytime and evenings. Just call us at 512-380-0770 and let us know your time and/or day of the week preferences, how many people you are signing up (1 to 8), and we will schedule a class for you or fit you in a class with other people.
