Silver Clay Ring Class | 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Guest Instructor: Lydia Johns

Come design your own ring using silver art clay and an incredible embeddable prong setting! In this one day class, Lydia Johns will teach you how to build a ring and then set a faceted stone on your creation. The result will be a unique and elaborate customized piece of jewelry that you will be excited to show off!

We will cover building a basic ring with silver clay. This is a fascinating product that has fine silver particles in an organic clay binder. You will be texturing your ring band with many stamps available, creating sunken settings, and making sure your ring fits after it is fired in a kiln. After firing to a high heat, the clay binder burns off and you are left with a beautiful silver ring!

Tuition: $235
