Fishy Fusion!
Saturday, November 4, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Blue Moon Glassworks
Instructor: Terry Mothersole
In this 4-hour intermediate fusing workshop, based on a pattern book, “Warm Glass Plates and Platters” by Dione Roberts, you will have 2 different fish patterns to choose from: a trout or a mackerel. You'll also learn a neat trick for hanging your glass art!
Some fusing experience is nice to have, but glass cutting skills are required.
The materials and supplies for this 4-hour class will include a fish pattern, a water-jet cut Bullseye COE 90 Tekta clear fish base, small pieces of glass for the fins and embellishments, frit, stringers, paint, and a locking Hang Your Glass stand-off.
You will need to purchase or supply your own glass for the fish body. We recommend a couple of different colors of sheet glass about 5”x10” in size.
Your fish will then be full fused and slumped on a double-curve mold that we like to call the fish tail mold!
Tuition: $125
