Color in the Flame: Enamel on Copper Pendants

Saturday, March 17, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Blue Moon Glassworks

In this new one day workshop with local artist Holly Cooper, the magic fusion of glass and metal is explored to produce colorful and expressive pendants and amulets.
We will use Thompson’s enamel on copper sheet that we cut ourselves. Then will fire with a torch, creating eye-catching wearable pendants. We’ll make interesting jewelry using a variety of techniques and materials including sgraffito, metal leaf, liquid enamels, and seed beads. We will also make our own findings for the necklaces from copper wire. The pieces we make will require basic jewelry making skills and tools. We will use torches supplied by the studio for the class session.
All skill levels welcomed!

Tuition: $225

Lunch will be provided by Blue Moon.
Tools and materials will also be provided in the class.
