Fire and Fleece: Combining glass beads and felted wool.
This will be a fun & colorful workshop for advanced beginners to seasoned lampworkers eager to try a new combination of mediums!
Day ONE. After a brief show & tell and creative design brainstorming session students will create a variety of large holed hollow and solid beads and glass headpins. ***
Day TWO students will explore a variety of wet and needle felting techniques to turn soft short fiber merino wool fleece and into a variety of forms(cords, sheet felt and beads) to create a necklace around their beads.

This class had to be cancelled, but we look forward to rescheduling in the future!
Tuition: $450 and includes a $40 Felting Materials and Tool kit.
Lunch provided by Blue Moon Glassworks daily.
Felting Materials & Tool Kit:
Kit includes her favorite basic wet and needle felting tools, copper wire and fleece.
Students should bring a sketchbook, favorite glass working tools and glasses, a bath towel(not your best) and very sharp scissors(large and small) .
